OBN BioLearn: 'An Introduction to People Management'


The course will run on the 29th April at The Oxford Centre for Innovation from 10.00-16.00. 


Workshop outline:

Great people managers make a huge difference to their direct reports and to their business, and this interactive workshop, led by the team at Highlight Peopleโ€‹, will explore what it takes to become a great people manager.


The session has been designed to be a safe environment for you to identify, practice and enhance the core skills and mindset required to manage others successfully and also share lots of helpful and practical tools for you to leverage in order to achieve better outcomes for your direct reports.


The workshop has been designed for the following people:

- Those who are new to managing people (or likely to start managing a team soon)

- Those who have been managing people for a while but want to refresh and renew their people management skills


By the end of the session you will have:

ยท A deeper appreciation of great people management behaviours

ยท Explored and identified helpful beliefs when managing others

ยท Learnt and developed some of the core skills required to be a successful people manager
