'A Showcase of the Transformative work of the Rosalind Franklin Institute'
We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday 18 January 2022, we will be hosting an evening showcase event hosted by the Rosalind Franklin Institute which will will feature a range of insightful presentations including:
- A general introduction to the Rosalind Franklin Institute, the innovative and inspirational research centre, dedicated to transforming life sciences through interdisciplinary research and technology development. We will hear about future plans and perspectives for how the Franklin fits within the broader academic and industry landscape, and some background on current projects.
- An update on the Nucleic Acid Therapy Accelerator (NATA) the new UK research initiative with a mission to accelerate the development of nucleic acid therapeutics and build partnerships with industry and academia from around the world.
- We'll also hear the latest news from HealthTec at Harwell, the group that draws on the campus's diverse multidisciplinary capabilities across cellular and structural biology, pharmacology, big data, and advanced materials, to deliver world firsts and life-changing innovations.
Finally, guests will have the opportunity to tour the Franklin Hub on the night, where the team will showcase their world leading scientific capability, which is the focal point of the Institute, and the heart of life on Campus.
