The OBN team are pleased to announce details of our FemTech focused BioTuesday event, kindly hosted by FTI in London on Tuesday 6 February.

The evening has been designed to spotlight the latest research & innovation in the thriving FemTech market, which over the course of just a few years, has grown to encompass a range of technology-enabled, consumer-centric products and solutions.

FemTech companies are disrupting healthcare in a number of ways, including:

Improving care delivery via virtual clinics and direct to consumer services
Enabling self-care via the development of trackers and wearables, at-home diagnostics and solutions that are helping women take greater charge of their health and health-related data.
Improved diagnostics that are pushing the scientific frontier to address unmet medical needs
Addressing stigmatized areas such as menstrual health, sexual health, pelvic care and menopause

Angela Hobbs, a dedicated member of the OBN Board since 2021 and Chair of the People and Cultural Advisory Group, works as an Innovation Management consultant and Fractional COO. Driven by a commitment to narrow the gender health gap in workplaces, Angela actively endeavors to reshape contemporary work environments, placing a strong emphasis on fostering innovation across diverse businesses. In her role as the Resident Innovation Coach at Oxford University Innovation, she supports entrepreneurs in aligning feasibility, viability, and desirability in their value propositions and collaborating to address pressing challenges.
She has an MSc in Sustainable Business from University of Bath and having successfully completed her Professional Executive Coaching qualification at Henley Business School in 2022, Angela is well-versed in her field. Beyond her active participation in various industry events as a speaker or panel member, she extends her expertise by coaching female founders and has founded a women in business program.
As a lifelong learner, Angela derives joy from traveling, especially horse riding holidays, exploring art galleries, and long walks.
